Add to Wakizashi

Antique unsigned wakizashi in fine koshirae. Blade is in decent polish, some small cosmetic wear. Would benefit from a professional Japanese polish or can be enjoyed as is. I’m not an expert in this field, but I would say this sword is roughly 300-400 years old due to the colour of the patina on the nakago and the very tight, well forged hada. That is my assessment. This sword would make a good candidate for Shinsa. Hamon: Notare, nie-deki based Nagasa: 16” Overall length: 21” The koshirae is quite nice. Beautiful iron tsuba. The fuchi/kashira and menuki are finely detailed and well crafted. Two piece silver habaki. Full samegawa (ray skin) saya. This sword would look amazing displayed in someone’s home. A great display of fine antique Japanese art. REDUCED PRICE: $1200 USD Open to offers Shipping offered in most countries through Canada Post Xpress Post. I’m not sure if I can ship to the United Kingdom due to some restrictions.
