Academic PD Day / Winter 2023

Hosted by the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Durham College, the Winter 2023 edition of Academic PD Day provided access to a wide variety of speakers, topics, and collaboration opportunities for many of our DC academic faculty and admin. This year, we welcomed Dr. Jeff Thompson, retired NYPD detective and professor at Columbia University, and Marc Forgette, founder of Makatew Workshops and a French Algonquin member of the Apitipi Anicinapek Nation (formerly Wahgoshig First Nation), as our opening and closing keynote speakers.
